WASHINGTON POST: Chemtrails Could Derail Climate Policy Debate

Washington Post Chemtrails Article

Thanks to Puneet Kollipara for this important post of public awareness. We understand that the article only appears because of editorial policy probably requires Puneet to couch this information as coming from a lowly bunch of “conspiracy theorists”.

Decoding the  Picture Worth a Thousand Words

The 2012 photo above showing two commercial aircraft flying in close military formation is an extremely dangerous violation of flight rules. Commercial aircraft at the same altitude are required to be horizontally separated by 5 nautical miles, not 50 feet.

Secondly, the alleged “contrail” emissions violate the physics of contrail formation when the visible trail is seen as it exits the extreme heat of the jet engine exhaust.  There is no possible way that ice crystals can exist within 10 feet of this extreme heat. The standard contrail will visibly form at about 1.5 wingspans behind the aircraft.  Until then, the hot engine exhaust suspends the water in an “invisible” vapor state until the freezing temperatures above 28,000 feet turns the water vapor into visible ice crystals.

Finally, climate scientist at CERN, Jasper Kirkby, PhD made it clear in 2009 that:

As governments’ efforts to cut greenhouse-gas emissions continue to sputter, some researchers have discussed another possible tool for combating climate change: “geoengineering” the climate. One particular form of it, “solar geoengineering,” would involve reflecting sunlight away from the Earth to reduce future warming, possibly by deploying an army of mirrors or spraying the air with reflective aerosols that would function like a chemical sunscreen.

But as it turns out, some people believe that a global campaign is already underway to have aircraft spray the air with chemicals — whether to control climate change or for other, more sinister purposes.

Meet the “chemtrails” crowd, who posit that governments, scientists and other institutions are using airplanes’ “chemtrails” — basically contrails that are allegedly laced with chemicals — to alter the climate, create extreme weather, poison people, or even control our minds.

The chemtrails movement has gained a small but passionate following on the Internet, with people across the ideological spectrum — from left-wingers worried about the environment to right-wingers concerned about abuses of government power. We don’t know the size of the community, but followers generally point to seeming irregularities in aircraft contrails as indisputable proof that illicit weather or climate modification is already happening, right now, and being used to control people and nations, especially poor ones.
